Without a doubt

Well, after looking through all my halloween pictures, I realized I never got a full body shot of my costume. Sad. But I thought I'd put up a photo anyway. This year I was a magic 8 ball. It was GREAT! I had one of those elementary scrollers with all the classic magic 8 ball phrases on them so people could ask me a question, shake me and then I'd tell them their answer. The magic 8 ball never lies!

Rattlesnake Ridge hike

A day hike near Seattle. I'm not sure how or what happened to the trees, but the "tree corpse" that got left behind were awesome. It's hard to tell, but most of them were taller than I am! It is so incredibly beautiful here.

Fall Seattle Day

I took these just yesterday. It has been AMAZING weather here in "rainy" Seattle, as in it hasn't rained. We get the occasional sprinkling now and then, but overall it's been beautiful sunny days. Seattle-ites say it's very uncharacteristic. But I don't complain one bit!

Sweet organ

On Sunday we went to a church in Queen Anne to listen to a vocal and organ concert. The kids here in Seattle definitely know how to go to church...this happens every Sunday night and people will come and fill the seats and when those are full they all just start laying on the ground. Hippies and college folk sprawled out everywhere. It was great!
The building had a lot of gothic references but with a modern twist. It was beautiful. Photo doesn't do it justice.

Early Halloween

Thought I'd finally post a photo of some of my roommates. But I like to keep things a little mysterious, so you will only know them as "Deb" and "Cleopatra" and well me as Richard Simmons. Wha? Richard Simmons? Wrong outfit. Dang.

Tara's visit!

Just some pics from when my good friend tara came to visit. It rocked my socks off.

Please notice that Seattle fish have heads equal to that of mine. Does that make mine tiny or theirs ridiculously large? Think about it.

Trust me, birds like french fries. I just fear birds can't distinguish the difference between fingers and fries. Heaven knows I have a hard time figuring it out sometimes.

University of Washington campus

This campus is AMAZING! It's a little mix of Europe and Harry Potter. Nothing could be finer.

Ballard Locks

Sigh. My friends are fantastic.

Are they aliens? Are they really on Mars? You may never know!!

If there is one single event that will forever and always remind me of summers in Logan it is the beloved Demolition Derby. Sigh. There is nothing more white trash or beautiful in the world.
